Influenced by the subconscious and the natural environment, the forms are an expression of memory, emotion, and tension. They struggle and influence each other as they interact and change the other’s form and composition. There is no in-between space. Everything impacts and influences everything struggling to survive (co-exist). It is a reaction to the beauty with the contrasting destruction of the natural environment around Spring Creek and its tributaries such as Puppy Creek.
Music cross-pollinates with the images to bring life and emotion to the inanimate. The emotion stems from the everyday beauty and honest reality of a daily existence in today’s contemporary landscape. Form and color are meant to evoke a subconscious reaction that can only be determined by the viewer themself. The viewer defines what they are seeing.

What is Spring Creek to you?
Spring Creek is the origin and direct connection between nature, history, and the people of the Ozarks as the City develops beyond the small rural settlement.
“It is this what you mean, isn’t it: that the river is everywhere at once, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the rapids, in the sea, in the mountains, everywhere at once, and that there is only the present time for it, not the shadow of the past, not the shadow of the future?” Siddhartha by Hermann Hess
