We’ve spent time at the Creek listening to its sounds and rhythms, noticing how we feel being there, and improvising with them. We are bringing our experience back with us and inviting you to bring your own experience to a communal play space. We’ll start with what emerged for us at the Creek and invite you to play along with us. We’ll probably end up creating a glorious immersive experience of lamentation, celebration, gratitude, connection, and awe. I’ve only been there a couple times, but live up in Bella Vista and have a deep relationship with the creeks and flora and fauna up here. My collaborators and I would love to come spend more time with Spring Creek in preparation for the performance/show. I would love to carry on this tradition of creating art inspired by natural places in different parts of the region.
