Made from secondhand fabrics and discarded clothing, this hand-stiched quilt represents the gift of comfort and relief I found at Spring Creek during a challenging season of life. On a cold, gloomy day, my partner and I bundled up our little one and brought him to Thunder Chicken Trailhead. We watched as he explored the creek in wonder – choosing pebbles from the bank, lobbing them into the air, and watching them splash into the water. The creek provided the backdrop for us to create a little moment of joy and was a soothing balm for our spirits.

Spring Creek represents what I love about living in northwest Arkansas – the proximity and accessibility of the outdoors. It’s a sweet reminder that whenever life feels overwhelming, I can always turn to nature for respite.
