My goal for this photo was to document and capture the various wildlife that visits Spring Creek, especially at night. Walking the creek, I found remote spots that had high animal activity and set up my custom motion sensor camera as well as some flashes. What you see are some examples of animals that depend on the creek for their needs.

What is Spring Creek to you?
The only way to get to the spots that I’ve put my camera is to walk the creek. During the many trips back and forth I’ve become fairly familiar with the sections that I’ve walked. I’ve come across box turtles, know where the common carp like to eat, and what branches the belted kingfisher likes to hunt from. Becoming intimate with a section of nature is one of my favorite parts about spending time outside.
