Where Past Meets Present (2026) $150.00 This piece was inspired by the idea that Spring Creek is not only part of the landscape, but also part of the history and everyday life surrounding it. I wanted to show the creek flowing between reminders of the past – the old cabin and wagon wheel – and the present, represented by the trail, bridge, and people enjoying the area today. The creek becomes the connection between those two worlds. Although the surroundings change with time, the water continues to move through the same landscape, creating new memories while carrying the store of the place forward. I chose soft watercolor with detailed ink lines to give the painting the feeling of an illustrated memory – somewhere familiar, peaceful, and full of stories. The flowing water, trees, wildlife, and traces of the area’s past all tell a store. It has taught me to slow down, notice the small details around me, and appreciate how one place can connect generations of people and memories.  

Through the Letters of Spring Creek (2026) $150.00 “Each letter is a small window into Spring Creek, because sometimes a place is remembered not by one view, but by all the little moments within it.” In this piece I wanted each letter of “Spring Creek” to feel almost like a tiny window into the area. Within the letters are glimpses of flowing water, bridges, trees, wildflowers, trails, fishing, picnics and the quiet places that invite you to slow down and look around. I chose this approach because my experience of Spring Creek isn’t represented by just one image. I wanted to show a small collection of all the details that mean the most. I want the viewer to move from letter to letter and discover something new each time. To me, Spring Creek represents both place and memory: somewhere familiar that can still offer something new each time you look a little closer. Spring Creek reminds me that beauty is often found in the small, ordinary things we can easily overlook-the movement of the water, wildflowers along the bank, birds in the trees, and the changing colors of each season. To me, Spring Creek represents connection, change, and the quiet reminder to appreciate what is growing and living right in front of us. Spending time at the creek has taught me to slow down and notice that every part of nature has a place and a purpose.

Bridge at the End of a Tunnel (2026) $275.00 Bridge at the End of the Tunnel depicts a secluded crossing at the Thunder Chicken Trailhead along the Razorback Greenway. Surrounded by a tunnel of dense, layered greens, the bridge emerges as a quiet passage over the creek flowing beneath it. Spring creek is a stunning beautiful outdoor recreation area where i often go to seek inspiration and to feel like i am escaping into the wild without having to travel too far from home.  

Sunset at Spring Creek (2026) $665.00 I am incredibly grateful for our local waterways. Being immersed in nature, especially the water, has been particularly impactful during a season of solo exploration and reconnection to self that I find myself in. The reference photo for this piece was taken in early summer of this year. I had taken myself on an artist date with the sole intention of experiencing the sunset, which is how I found myself with the water flowing around my ankles and the sunlight reflecting up at me. Although I didn’t know at the time that the water I was standing in was named Spring Creek, I definitely knew that we were friends. I wanted to capture a feeling of peaceful resilience with this painting. It was made using acrylic paint on a 12″ x 16″ stretched canvas. I wanted to reflect our connection to wildlife and the responsibility we share to respect and protect the natural world. Spring Creek near Hunt Family Ozark Nature Center (2026) $450.00 The painting is of the rocky area along Spring Creek that is behind the Hunt Family Ozark Nature Center. I go there frequently to walk the trail and to just soak in the natural beauty of the area. Venturing off the trail toward the creek is always exciting because the creek has its own personality and is always different depending on the weather and the rains feeding the creek.
