Team Springdale began in the Spring of 2014 as a project by Amber and Jonathan Perrodin to simply highlight our beloved hometown of Springdale, Arkansas. Originally we thought Team Springdale would simply be an anonymous instagram account (@teamspringdale) to highlight our city. But within three days of starting the account, KNWA contacted us to feature our movement. Shortly thereafter we were contacted by them again to talk about saving the Apollo Theater downtown. From there, it snowballed into this wonderful source for all things Springdale and a place for citizens to connect through the hashtag #teamspringdale. We are not affiliated with any city offices or have an agenda outside of promoting our hometown. We hope you enjoy what we’re working towards and consider joining the Team.Simply tag #teamspringdale on instagram, twitter, or facebook to get involved. It’s genuinely that easy. Together we can keep this movement alive and slowly begin to change the face of our town. #teamspringdale teamspringdale.com

Team Springdale directly lead the marketing effort of the 2015 Downtown Springdale Master Plan, which engaged hundreds of Springdale residents from July to December 2015 through numerous public input meetings, one-on-one stakeholder interviews and a week-long community planning charrette. The Downtown Master Plan is the collective vision that emerged from those sessions, paired with extensive research into Springdale’s history and vibrant downtowns around the country.
